WCCUSD middle and high school students are invited to attend the College Information Day on Saturday, October 10 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
College Information Day is a free annual event that normally takes place at the University of California, Berkeley, in which college and university representatives give college preparation tips and resources to students and their families. This year, the event will be virtual.
Over 40 public and private colleges and universities will be represented, including those within the UC system, California State University, institutions outside of the Golden State, historically black colleges and community colleges.
Students will be able to attend workshops on admission requirements, financial aid and scholarships, completing the UC application, completing the CSU Application, Independent Colleges, transferring from a community college to a four-year college or university and Career Exploration. The event will also include a panel of college students discussing their own college admissions processes, financial aid applications, personal statements and more.
